CLAYTON, NC, February 14, 2003 - - DockPoint announced today the signing of letters of intent to acquire the assets of Café 57, Inc. and Intechmedia Broadband, a Wireless Internet provider with subscribers in North and South Carolina.

Intechmedia Broadband was founded in 2001, with a goal to bring high-speed Internet to rural communities by deploying wireless broadband services and custom solutions for residential and business clients across areas of North and South Carolina. Operating from Angier, NC, Intechmedia Broadband provides additional services such as web hosting, server co-location, web and multimedia development, network design and integration.

DockPoint, LLC, a full service Internet solutions facility operating from its headquarters in Clayton, NC since 1998, currently provides services to residential and business clients in Cumberland, Wake, Harnett, Wilson and Johnston counties through its Broadband and Network Services divisions. DockPoint's Internet Solutions division provides ancillary services such as web hosting, server co-location, web and multimedia development, network design and system integration.

Michael Bavaro, DockPoint's president stated, 'Acquisitions are one of the cornerstones of our growth strategy to build a network of dial-up and broadband Internet connectivity throughout Central and Eastern North Carolina communities. The additional resources and integration of technology resulting from these transactions provide DockPoint a solid foundation for increasing service levels to our clients and the communities we serve. The combined innovations of the two companies further extend DockPoint’s commitment to its clients and the community in living up to our reputation of a 'Total Internet Solution' provider.'

Sammy Miles, Director of Marketing says, 'Our WI-FI technology will enable DockPoint to push ahead of the DSL and Cable footprint to bring high-speed service to isolated pockets of the Central and Eastern North Carolina markets keeping in the spirit of e-NC's RIAA mandate to make high-speed Internet available to the majority of North Carolina homes and business. The combined technology options now provided by DockPoint allow us to engineer custom or specialized solutions to many businesses situations within our region of service.'

Miles further stated, 'DockPoint is now positioned to offer the most popular methods of Internet connectivity to the residential and business community including cost effective dial-up and high-speed broadband through DSL and wireless mediums.
